 What is Studio 8?

Studio 8 is a unique art studio located in Upper Montclair, NJ, where dance and painting merge to create a one-of-a-kind experience. Participants use their dance movements to create artworks on large canvases, combining the fluidity of dance with the vibrant expression of painting.

 What types of classes do you offer?

 We offer a variety of classes designed for all skill levels, including:

- Canvas Explorer:  A beginner-friendly package that includes basic materials and instructions.

- Artisan's Field Day: An intermediate package with more colors and additional materials.

- Masterpiece Creator: A premium package with unlimited paint options and premium take-home items.

- Duet Master Piece Creators:  A special package for couples and Friends that want to create a shared artwork.

How do I book a class?

 You can book a class through our website's booking system. Simply select the class package you're interested in, choose a time slot, and complete the payment process. You'll receive a confirmation email with all the details.

What should I wear to a class?

 We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting paint on. For the Gold and Platinum packages, you'll receive a white t-shirt with our logo to wear during the session or after your session is over.

Do I need any dance or painting experience to participate?

No prior experience in dance or painting is required. Our classes are designed to be fun and accessible for everyone, regardless of skill level. Our instructors will guide you through the process and help you create your masterpiece. But you will also have a free time to do as you please.

What materials are provided in each class?

 Each class package includes different materials:

- Canvas Explorer: 4 colors of paint, 1 refill, a 4x5 canvas, and a warm wet towel.

- Artisan's Field Day: 6 colors of paint, 2 refills, a 4x5 canvas, a warm wet towel, and a white t-shirt.

- Masterpiece Creator: 7 colors of paint, unlimited refills, a 4x5 canvas, a warm wet towel, a white t-shirt, and a pair of sweats.

- Duet Masterpiece Creators: 8 colors of paint, unlimited refills, a 5x9 canvas, two warm wet towels, two white t-shirts, a complimentary beverage, and a digital photo.

Can I take my artwork home?

Yes, each package includes a cutout of your artwork that you can take home:

- Canvas Explorer: 12”x16” cutout.

- Artisan's Field Day: 16”x20” cutout.

- Masterpiece Creator: 46x48 cutout or a mix of 3 smaller canvases.

- Duet Masterpiece Creators: 20”x30” cutout or two 16”x20” canvases.

Do you offer private sessions or events?

Yes, we offer private sessions for individuals or groups and can host special events such as birthday parties, corporate events, and more. Please contact us for more details and to book a private session or event.

How can I stay updated on new classes and events?

You can subscribe to our newsletter through our website to receive updates on new classes, events, and exclusive offers. You can also follow us on social media for the latest news and updates.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled class will incur a cancellation fee. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. There are no Refunds. We will allow you to use a credit towards your next class.

 Are there any age restrictions for your classes?

Our classes are designed for participants aged 18 and above. We also offer special sessions for younger children and family-friendly events. Please check our schedule or contact us for more information.
