Our Story.

Studio 8 was born out of a shared passion for art and dance, inspired by the desire to merge these two expressive forms into a single, unique experience. Founded by a creative and dynamic couple, Studio 8 represents the culmination of their artistic journeys and the challenges they’ve overcome together. With a vision to create a space where people can explore their creativity in new and exciting ways, they set out to establish a studio that would become a haven for artists, dancers, and everyone in between.

Our journey began with the simple idea of an engagement proposal where one of the founders Erika was invited to what it seemed to be a real “paint and dance studio “ the goal was to create a space that felt so real that by the time the moment for the proposal came Erika would have no idea it was all a fake. Out of that the idea to turn this into a business was birthed.  We wanted to bring something fresh and innovative to the community of Upper Montclair, NJ, and offer a platform where individuals can express themselves freely and connect with others through shared experiences. Despite the obstacles we faced along the way, our unwavering belief that this was part of a bigger plan kept us motivated and determined.
